13. Sankalana-Vyavakalanabhyam

Means: By addition and by subtraction.


14. Gunitasamuchyah

Means: The sum of the question is equal to the product of the question.


15. Sopaantyadvaya Mantyam 

Means: Ultimate and twice the penultimate.


16. Ekanyunena Purvena

Means: One less than the one before.
